DETAILS

Leather bound with engraved frontispiece.

This volume contains information on kitchen gardens, trees, shrubs, evergreens, flowers, green houses, house plants plus much more.  There is an attractive, engraved frontispiece to the front of the book and a comprehensive index to the rear. 

CONDITION

The binding is tight and firm with both covers and all internal pages securely attached.  The book has been sympathetically rebound last century. The hinges are a bit strained with the cords exposed, but holding well.  There is wear to the extremities, including rubbing to the boards.. Internally the pages are generally clean and bright, apart from the occasional handling mark and brown spot.  There are copperplate inscriptions to the front, blank end paper and rear pastedown.
