New York Daily Times Papers 1854 - July22-Sept19-Slaves
Up for auction is a bound set of New York Daily Times (later became the New York Times) newspapers starting with the July 22, 1854 issue and ending on with the Sept 19, 1854 issue. This is not a complete set. I counted approx. 36 issues. I am not sure if they all have the entire paper. Edges are frayed on some and a few may have tears. They are bound using thread which can be removed to obtain individual papers. Lots of interesting historical reading. I saw articles about slavery, Crimea War, Colts patent lawsuit, political issues, lots of interesting advertisements etc. Contact me if you need me to look for a specific date.
