This is my second LL Bean pack - my first was so functional and great that I wore it out!  This one is only lightly used, all zippers and material in good condition, and comes with shoulder straps and a waist strap (many of the new versions don't seem to have the waist strap.  The only flaws are a few scratches/marks on the reflective strip, and the outer pocket that contains the strip.  It has a large main compartment, a thinner second compartment - both the full height and width of the pack - an organizer section with several pockets and spaces for pens/pencils, and an outer zipper for easy access to things like keys!  The back is padded for comfort.

I used my first one for school, and this one for day hikes and overnights.  It has lots of functionality.  This pack sells new on LLBean's site for $39.95.
