Item: PS2 Kurogane no Houkou
2, Warship Gunner "The Best" series ('03)
Released: 2003, MicroCabin
(developer), KOEI (distributor).
Disk: somewhat scratchy.
Instruction manual: front
and back covers somewhat worn. Pages in good condition.
Case: somewhat worn.
Genre / Game description:
Naval action and fighting. Build warships from scratch and
shoot Allied vessels (which is funny because you can build
Japanese, American, British and German type vessels, and
fight all of them). Please note that this is the original
Japanese language version. You need to know and read a lot
of kanjis. Also, some knowledge about warship building and
use of weapons is absolutely necessary.
Shipping (P&P): 7.00 USD
by regular airmail, 5.00 USD by SAL (see note
below). Please specify which shipping method you
want, after you've won and through eBay's My
Messages or "Contact seller"
feature of Item Description.
*
The items are JAPANESE
(LANGUAGE) VERSION ("Sony PlayStation 2"). Make
sure that your equipment can play them. Example: North
American systems cannot run these games (will freeze).
*
Just the main menus ->
The games are provided with a very simple (short)
instruction manual (in English, written by myself) to get
you started, though I'm not sure if this helps at all in the
case of RPGs.

Below are Notes that I attach to
every item I list. Please read them carefully before you
bid. (Last
updated: January 2009) (v. 1.0) (Sorry, had to make this
long.)
|
- "International Flat Rate" is
uniform (same) rate/cost, wherever you live in the world, and
inclusive of special shipping methods that may become necessary
(such as sending in separate packages to ensure safety of the
items). And please note that the shipping costs specified in the
description are the maximum costs that I will be charging
you. In some cases, I reduce shipping. Examples: you bought only 2
light-weight Super Famicom cartridges, and you live in
Asia, North America or Europe. In this case, I usually
reduce the shipping cost to 10 US dollars instead of 12. You
bought one Famicom cartridge. In this case, I usually charge 5 US
dollars instead of 7. And, I don't think this needs to be written,
but if you live in Japan, I can ship in any method that you want.
In this case, the shipping will be domestic, so I can ship up to 4
Super Famicom cartridges for as low as 180 yen. So, if you live in
Japan, or plan to receive the item in Japan, or want me
to ship it to an address in Japan, make sure to tell me before
you pay.

Shipping and packing method:
Basically, all items are shipped by "regular airmail" (see Note
below). Items to small countries can be shipped by SAL (Surface
Air Lifted). This method takes 3 or 4 days more than "regular
airmail", but is somewhat cheaper. It however treats the package
as SURFACE MAIL in the country of origin (which is Japan) and that
of destination (your country). If you live in a country where
surface mail is problematic for whatever reason, do not choose
this method. Also, some countries cannot handle SAL. So, if in
doubt, do not choose SAL.
-
- Notes:
- 1) "Regular airmail": the method
actually used is called "small packet". This is for sending goods
only, and may not contain letters. By the number of days that it
takes, and the actual shipping cost, this probably corresponds to
USPS (United States Postal Service)'s "First Class International".
In comparison, again, by the number of days it takes, SAL probably
corresponds to USPS's "letter post". The actual shipping cost in
the case of "small packet" is 330 Japanese yen for up to 150
grams, and 420 yen for up to 200 grams, when packed. A Super
Famicom cartridge can usually be shipped for 330 yen. A boxed set
can be shipped for 420 yen. I cannot write these amounts in US
dollars for instance, because the yen / dollar exchange rate is
changing all the time.
-
- 2) Items are packed to make them water-
and shock-proof. This is because from my experience, airmails are
sometimes very roughly treated. Examples: left in the airport
without anything to cover the packages, even under rain. Pressed
under other heavy cargo. Thrown into cargo boxes and bags.
-
- 3) After I ship, I will send you a
notice from eBay's My Messages system, telling you the exact time
of shipment in your local time. So, please expect arrival by
counting from that date and time.
-
- 4) Items are shipped within 36 hours
even in the worst case, after receipt of payment. On holidays, if
I have many packages to ship, I can ship from a large post office
that is open 24/365 (this means "no holidays"). In this case, the
items will arrive a day or two earlier. Items shipped by "small
packet" can get to North America in 4 days at the fastest, and 3
days to Europe (these are the records so far).
Payments: I usually send the first
Invoice right after the auction ends. If you do not pay on this
Invoice, I will send you a reminder Invoice three days after the
auction ends. If you still do not pay or respond to this
Invoice, I will file an Unpaid Item Dispute. In this case, eBay
will send you a payment reminder. So, if you have any kind of
reason that you cannot pay or respond, make sure to contact
me.
Returns: I cannot take
responsibility for items that were damaged or lost in the process
of shipment and delivery ("in the mail"). All items are checked
before listing, and detail-checked before shipping. The Item
Description describes the state of the items as faithfully as
possible. But, I do accept returns, for whatever reason, if you
pay the return shipping cost. In this case, make sure to
contact me before you ship the item.
Refunds: I refund the price and
shipping costs in the following cases.
- a) The item was found to be damaged or
lost in the final inspection process before shipment. This
includes dead batteries in the case of Super Famicom and other
games or items that have batteries.
- b) I sent the wrong item. In this case,
I refund the full amount, and you can keep the item. But, in this
case, please send me a proof that I sent a wrong item. A cell
phone photo of the item and Payment Details* is enough.
Payment Details is what PayPal sends me when you pay. I enclose
this sheet in the package. It will say "Payment Details /
RECEIPT".
Combined shipments: an S&H
(P&P) discount of 2.00 USD for each additional item will be
deducted, but not exceeding four items. If you win one item
and are bidding for another item, make sure to mail me so I can
keep the first item until you win other items.
- Example (the case of Super Famicoms):
- 1st item: 7.00 USD
- 2nd item: 5.00 USD
- 3rd item: 3.00 USD
- 4th item: 1.00 USD
- 5th item: back to 7.00 USD, and so
on.
-
- Addition (Customs):
- When you buy an item from me, you will
be importing that item from Japan to your country. This means that
as an importer, you must declare what you are importing, to your
country's customs authorities. Among other things, this
declaration must state the "value" of the item. You must tell me
what to write for this "value". The seller, who is the exporter,
is not in the position to decide what to write for this "value".
Most of my items are priced below the dutiable amounts, so you
don't need to tell me this. But in some cases, like when the price
went up, you will be responsible for the payment of the customs
duties and other taxes. These will be collected by the delivering
agent or company. In relation to this issue, eBay has instructed
international sellers to include the following statements. Please
read them as a reference. This is quoted in compliance with eBay's
policy announcement email, dated January 9, 2009, Japan time.

International Buyers ミ Please
Note:
Import duties, taxes and charges
are not included in the item price or shipping charges.
These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's
customs office to determine what these additional costs
will be prior to bidding/buying.
These charges are normally
collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or
when you pick the item up ミ do not confuse them for
additional shipping charges.
