Greek Mythology Outstanding Marble Bust of AJAX

Ajax was the son of Telamon. He was a Trojan War hero on the side of the Greeks. When Achilles was killed, his armor was to be awarded to the next greatest Greek hero. Ajax thought it should go to him. Ajax went mad and tried to kill his comrades when the armor was awarded to Odysseus, instead. Athena intervened by making Ajax think cattle were his former allies. When Ajax realized he had slaughtered the herd, he committed suicide as his only honorable end. This 16" exquisitely made bonded marble bust (contains 95% White Italian Carerra Marble) is a superb reproduction of the original and is produced here in the UK in limited numbers. It is mounted on a beautifully shaped black marble plinth that compliments the bust superbly. This piece is higly collectable and can only be a real investment in the future.

Please note that we do our very best to keep shipping and postage costs to a minimum and our service includes handling, all packaging materials, strong double walled cartons and a specialist packer to ensure your goods reach you in tact! If you feel that our costs for this service is not acceptable please feel free to arrange your own courier or come and collect in person by phoning 0208 958 0444 to arrange a mutually convenient time for collection. If you do a little research I think you will agree our rates are actually very reasonable.

We will accept item returns on condition that they are returned within 7days of receipt and received in same condition that they were despatched. Please note shipping cost returns are at Buyers Expense and refunds will be given on the Purchase price of the item only.

We will only refund items damaged in transit if optional insurance has been paid which is offered on invoices and are notified of damage within 48hours of receipt of item. This notification must be accompanied with pictures of the damage to include all packaging materials used to speed up the insurance process. Refunds will not be given until the Insurance process is completed as with any other business. We do not accept that items have been inadequately packaged as each item is packed at our dedicated packaging facility to ensure its arrival in tact and any breakages that occur are as a result of rough handling in transit for which we have no control. The optional insurance offered will cover this!
