The photographs are of mature blooming perennials and not the ones you will receive. We ship our plants in a growing mix with planting instructions, with good heavy root systems.
Plants are guaranteed to arrive safely. Some plants may have been removed from their container for ease of shipping. Please open and unpack plants from shipping boxes immediately upon arrival.

SHIPPING COSTS DETAILS:
Listings for discounted Lots of any 3, any 5, any 10, any 15 or any 20 plants are at actual cost flat rate shipping and have no packing fees added, saving you even more.
I have no control over what the post office charges for Priority Mail, however shipping is not a profit center here at Good Roots Perennials, here is how shipping is calculated:
Gallons are calculated at 3 to 5 pounds actual cost each and ship in their own box so cannot be combined for shipping discounts,
Half Gallons are calculated at an actual 3 pounds each plus a 99 cent per plant TLC packing charge and are eligible for huge combined shipping discounts.
Quarts are calculed at an actual 2 pounds each plus a $0.99 TLC packing cost minus all sorts of discounts when you buy several plants
Starter plants are calculated at 1/2 pound each, and are elligible for combined shipping discounts for purchases made within a 5 day period.

F.A.Q: Why do JUMBO and QUART size plants have a $0.99 per plant packing charge included in the cost quoted in the shipping calculator?
These plants are just plain already almost too large to pack in conventional USPS boxes. I pack them carefully with lots of TLC: Once watered with seaweed to relieve stress, each root ball is carefully and tightly wrapped in a plastic bag and a custom made cardboard tube is wrapped around the plant and taped into place before the plant is laid into the box snugly and stabilized with paper or packing peanuts when needed. This is all done the morning of the day they ship so as to cut out a potential twelve or more hours of being in a box.
1/2 gallon at 3 pounds each and Quart size plants at two pounds are heavy to ship. They must ship by a method no slower than priority mail.
I ship USPS priority mail on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the hopes that they will arrive happy and ready to plant before the weekend. If weather or other conditions cause a delay in shipping (too hot, too cold, too busy) I'll notify you of any expected delays.
I strive to ship within 7 - 10 days of cleared payment, but during the busy spring shipping season (April, May, June +) this may often take 3+ weeks! not because I'm wasting your time, but because I'm packing plants as quickly as I can. I sincerely thank you in advance for your patience and I assure you that the quality and health of these plants will be worth the wait. I offer a combined shipping discount for all items bought within five days when you pay for all items at the same time.
