This is literally like going into the guitar store in 1975 and looking at NEW Teles. This 1975 Tele is in unbelievable condition and is 100% ORIGINAL! It has the original black finish along with the original black pickguard (in 1975 black pickguard replaced respective item) and the original Tele hardshell case with the orange lining. The Patent number is on the top of the neck and under the three saddles and on the neck plate on the back is:the serial 633498. It has three really small (about 1/8") rubs in the finish, one underneath (where the right hand might hit it) the knobs and two on top. They're so small that I tried to show them in the pics but all you see is the glare. There are two cracks in the paint (one real small, other about !0 to 11")on the back which is natural for a 35 year old guitar, again, I tried to show it in the pics. Everything on this beauty is original: The pickups, tuners, bridge plate, saddles, pots, knobs, etc. and no solder or repairs of any type. The neck is in perfect condition and has a fingerboard with black dot inlays. None of the frets have any string indentations anywhere on any string. The neck is in PERFECT condition. It is very lightweight, the action is low, it's easy to play, and has the sounds and tones are like a 35 year old Tele should. To satisfy a friend's curiosity and win a cold beer I took the guitar down to Guitar Center and their guitar guy looked it over good and he said it was all original, which I knew. I've got a '67 Tele and a Japanese Thinline and lately I've been playing more with Strats or a 335 I just hated to see such a nice looking and sounding guitar sitting idle so I decided to part with it. I'll also try to get some more pics soon if anyone wants more. I borrowed a friend's digital camera and had never used one before and it took me forever to get the ones on now. If you have any questions you can call me at:303-545-5940 or 720-987-2842 or email me at: Bluzgitarmon55@gmail.com. This is a great looking, sounding and an easy guitar to play, sitting or standing, whoever gets it will be extremely happy. I don't know how many guitars I've owned but I have 29 now. I would have to rate this guitar at 97 or 98%, (the case a little less) for a 35 year old guitar, that's why I say "satisfaction guaranteed" Thanks for looking and good luck bidding on this beauty! I haven't used eBay in a while, but I've had at least 60 deals and all were 100% positive! Buyer Pays For Shipping. I Will Accept Returns within three business days, Satisfaction Guaranteed! However, Buyer Pays For Shipping Both Ways. Payments must be paid within 72 hours of auction close Shipping costs may vary depending where it's sent to. Will ship anywhere where guitars are played! I'm not glued into the "Buy It Now Price. Give me a legitimate offer and I'll consider it. |
