Alvarez Deluxe 5 String Banjo with Hardshell Case 1970s ,
Good condition!
This is a Alvarez Deluxe 5 String Banjo with Hardshell Case.
I believe it is a 1970s model, has mark on inside of body and on neck: #3195.
Banjo neck has pearloid bowtie fret markers, filigree peghead inlay, die cast tone ring.
There is a deer engraving on the tailpiece and floral engraving on the armrest.
It has a volute neck and the neck is straight and the action is good.
The head is in good shape with minor discoloration.
The tuning keys are of a high quality and operate well.
Comes with a lockable hardshell case in good but not perfect condition with keys.
Also includes the tools for tightening the head.
The banjo is heavy and is loud, but missing one string.
