Remember, if you are purchasing this coffee from a company that does not roast their own beans, you are not receiving the freshest possible product, especially if the coffee is packaged with an expiry date.Coffee is freshest 3 weeks after roasting; there are no exceptions to this rule. Coffee that is not as fresh as ours will deteriorate to a point where you can't tell the difference between Jamaican or Mexican beans. It becomes questionable to motive why one would buy roasted coffee beans which will taste like $2/pound beans due to aging.
