Description
A two-disc compilation from Working Designs that collects Growlanser II: The Sense of Justice and Growlanser III: The Dual Darkness into a single collector's set. Features include over 160 hours of gameplay and hundreds of minutes worth of localized voice-overs. Growlanser II introduces players to a special world of melee and magic, where rings become weapons and war threatens to shatter the peace of three neighboring kingdoms. Players control Wein Cruz and up to seven of his companions in battles of ever-increasing size, complexity, and importance against forces that are as devious as they are strong. Growlanser III is the revealing third chapter in the Growlanser saga, and takes players back to the beginning of the Growlanser universe. Back to a world being consumed by darkness, forcing its inhabitants to seek a way to leave the world behind.

Special Features
Working Designs, a company known for their extra features, doesn't disappoint here. Each game contains multiple endings and extra characters, so players will want to make use of the New Game Plus feature to see everything. After clearing the game, players can access the Extras menu and view character sketches and hear voice actor outtakes. The character sketches will be of particular interest to anime fans the character designs for both games were done by anime artist Satoshi Urushihara.

Up for grabs is the rare Growlanser Generations for the Sony Playstation 2. Working Designs produced only a limited quantity of this game, which has sent RPG fans scrambling for the few copies that did get to retail. Note that the factory seal is different on this game, compared to most PS2 games -- This set includes a second disc insert as well as a thick booklet, and so the case bulges a bit, so it had to be shrinkwrapped rather than given the usual Y-fold seal.

This game comes NEW and FACTORY SEALED with both game discs, manual, in the original case. PLEASE NOTE: Part of the shrinkwrap is missing on the lower-right part of the cover. Disc will work 100% like new. See actual pics below! This title is already extremely scarce, so Buy It Now before it gets snapped up!

Growlanser Generations is a spellbinding set of two complete RPGs that span space and time itself. Growlanser: The Sense of Justice introduces the players to Growlanser's world of swordplay and magic, where peace between three kingdoms is on the verge of shattering. Growlanser: The Dual Darkness takes players back to the place, time, and planet where the series began. In both games, players control the hero, and four to seven of his companions in ever more massive, strategic battles against the enemy forces in a variety of scenarios. Customizable characters with upgradeable magic, skills and power rings, as well as multiple story branches make Growlanser Generations one of the most flexible Strategy/RPGs to date. Developed by Atlus and CareerSoft, the Growlanser saga is an epic fantasy tale featuring a unique mix of strategic, menu-driven combat and real-time character movement and fighting. Its sublime combination of action and strategy was crafted by the key team members responsible for the long-running hit series Langrisser in Japan. A deep story with over 80 hours of gameplay, loads of voice work, and fantastic character designs by anime artist Satoshi Urushihara compliment the gameplay and will keep players glued to the screen.
