Basically you just place them overtop of standard Christmas bulbs (such as the small twinkle bulbs that most people use on their trees) & then the light shines through the beautiful painted frosted glass. You could also wrap lights around a vine or door swag & place the Santa light covers on them for a fantastic look at Christmastime.
