Description

 

This is a gorgeous embroidered applique for those Red Hat Lady Society members!  It is a medium size red hat, perfect for placing on a bath, hand or kitchen towel, pillow, or even a t-shirt or jacket with some of the other hats I have listed this week.  Your imagination makes it limitless!  This would also make a fun gift to custom decorate for a birthday for a friend. 

This applique measures 1.25" high by 3" wide. It has a satiny feel to it.  The hat has a curved brim, has special textured embroidery on the top of the hat and the side band.  There are lavendar and purple flowers and green leaves embroidered for a beautiful finishing touch!  Note, the picture has been blown up so you can see the intricate detailing on the applique. Check the measurements to see how it works for your project.

I have other hats and Red Hat Lady appliques; see my other listings.  I combine shipping for items won in the same week that are paid for with only one combined Paypal payment, so you can save some $. You only pay .25 additional shipping for each applique after the first one.

I ship my appliques in a premium bubble envelope to protect them.  If you only have one applique and wish to save on shipping, I can ship first class in a regular non-padded envelope for .75 less; let me know before you pay so I can adjust the invoice for you.  Note, this offer only applies to the shipping of one applique.

The applique can either be ironed on with either a household iron or professional heat press.  If an iron is used, follow these instructions:  

  1. Preheat iron to 'cotton' setting.  Do not use steam!
  2. Position applique on garment.
  3. Cover design with thin pressing cloth.
  4. Press straight down for 25 seconds with constant pressure- No back and forth motion!
  5. Allow to cool thoroughly before using.

If a heat press is used, set to 375 degrees for 15 seconds.
