LDC Designs Book Division utilizes calculated shipping by weight, and offers generous  discounts on combined purchases within five days of the first closed auction. To qualify for these combined shipping discounts, the bidder must wait until all auctions and "Buy it Now" choices are closed before proceeding through Auctiva checkout. There is a nominal handling fee, which is required to offset expenses of shipping materials, as boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and other assorted shipping ephemera does not come free.  You pay only one handling fee, no matter how many items are purchased, hence your "savvy shopper" discount is $1.60 off each additional purchase. While all care is taken to ensure your package arrives safely, there is optional shipping insurance available, through Auctiva checkout.  

This insurance is also available for international Priority Mail shipments to most countries. International shipping tends to be cost prohibitive, for the most part, and while I wish it could be otherwise, the amount shown in your respective shipping calculator is the only option available.

The books offered at auction are usually pre-owned books, and display some signs of usual wear. They are sold in "as is" though perfectly readable condition, as described and photographed. I am an independent bookseller operating on several internet venues, and as a rule, badly tattered books rarely make it into my inventory in the first place, and if there are exceptions to my normally high standards, of "very good" then this will be noted in the description. The seller is unable to guarantee that a bidder will enjoy the content of a book purchased, though I do provide a synopsis or reviews of titles from independent sources, when available, to assist bidders in expanding their horizons of potential new favorites. If you like what you see...please bid early. Returns are not accepted unless the seller has overlooked some glaring flaw, and made an unintentional misrepresentation of the auction item.
