Vintage VANITY PERFUME BOTTLE FOSTORIA 1920 Era

Rare Vintage 1920 Era VANITY PERFUME BOTTLE

Believed to be made by FOSTORIA in 1924.

Purchased from a private estate sale.

Approximately 7 1/2 inches tall from base to top of stopper.

Amber colored clear glass with fancy gold border design

Along edge of Powder Compartment Cover and

Around middle of perfume bottle.

Plain gold gilt band around base and top of Perfume Bottle

And around base and top of Powder Compartment.

This Vanity Perfume Bottle has a clear glass stopper.

The Stopper has a chip towards the top point

Which is noticeable when examined closely.

Possibly this could be repaired.

I did not see this minor damage when I purchased the bottle.

There is a slight indentation

Along one ridge of the top of the stopper

Which may be a manufacturing detail or a repair.

The bottom of the stopper is fine.

There is some wear evident of gold design.

There is some residue evident on inside of  Bottle.

Likewise there a few minor imperfections, minute scratches, etc.

On outside of lower part of bottle.

This Perfume Bottle consists of Clear Glass Stopper,

An Amber Perfume Bottle Attached to Cover of Powder Container,

And the Powder Container--A total of 3 pieces.  

Considering the age, this Perfume Bottle

Is in Very Nice Condition.
