Its solar cell converts light from both the sun and artificial sources into electric power, and it has a power reserve of up to four months. The round watch case is topped by a raised bezel that includes a black inner ring with Arabic numeral hour markers, small minute indexes, and compass readings at the quarter hour marks. The black dial includes stick markers, luminous dagger hands (with yellow seconds hand), and a date window at 3 o'clock. It's finished by a stainless steel bracelet band with brushed links on the outside and a polished link at the center. Other features include a scratch-resistant mineral crystal and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving.
