On December 14th and 15th, 2004, sold-out crowds piled into the Sierra Nevada Company in Chico, California to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the hugely successful rock act Huey Lewis and the News. Much to the delight of fans, the group performed all of the hits that made them so popular over the years, including "I Want a New Drug," and "The Heart of Rock & Roll," from their 1983 breakout album SPORTS. Nearly a quarter century after their formation, Huey Lewis and the News display the same effortless blend of soul-infused rock, rhythm, and blues that gave them such widespread appeal when they first hit in big in the 1980s.
