Austex Sales is the eBay Sales Division of an e-commerce store in Austin, Texas. I worked for the eBay Division of a local computer retail store, but I've recently decided to try this on my own. I usually get some great items to sell. But I only receive a limited supply of each product. So be warned: I do take down auctions without notice! When I do have more inventory to play with, I also sell wholesale lots to allow businesses to take full advantage of our bulk rate pricing. A great transaction takes both parties to be cooperative in order to be successful. Communication is the key! Austex Sales lists items as accurately as possible but we are NOT experts on all of the items we list. It is the responsibility of the bidder to inspect the photos and ask questions prior to bidding. Buyers are also ultimately responsible for checking compatibility of each product with their own systems. If an accessory or any other item is NOT pictured or specifically described in the above listing then it is more than likely NOT INCLUDED with this auction. Same goes for warranties. Payment Policy

Immediate payment required. An acceptable grace period of 5 business days is all that is allowed. You may request an extension of the 5 day grace period. But if payment or email contact is not received by the 6th business day, the auction item will automatically be submitted as a buyer dispute and the product will be re-listed. Buyer disputes can result in a non-paying buyer strike against the eBay account. Too many strikes on an account may result in an indefinite account suspension by eBay. Don't let it get this far. Communication is the key! Contact me today if you need an extension.

Refund Policy

All warranty and DOA returns are processed as an exchange only transaction. Refunds are not offered, and only given when a replacement for a DOA item is out of stock. Warranty product returns are also processed as exchanges, and are only eligible for a store merchandise credit in the event of an out-of-stock item. In nearly all auction cases, monetary refunds are not offered and will not be given. By bidding on this auction, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this policy.

Austex Sales attempts to test most of the products sold in auction. Sometimes it is not possible, or I may miss something. I'm human. It happens. If there is a warranty or non-DOA policy in the item description, then you are covered! You are guaranteed a working product. But I want to clearly state what that means in each of my policies so that there is no confusion.

Non-DOA Guarantee policy states that unless an auction indicates that the item sold is an "as-is" product, if you receive a dead-on-arrival (DOA) or defective product, I will exchange the item for you.

Warranty policy only covers what is specifically stated for each product in its auction item description. If there is no warranty stated the description, then none is given or implied. Warranty periods will vary, and sometimes they will only cover certain situations so please pay close attention to the details in the auction. Do not assume anything. If you are confused, ask questions. I'm happy to answer them. I process many auctions, so sometimes I may make mistakes in the auction or write conflicting warranties. It happens. I am more than happy to clarify any information, or make corrections to the auction itself.

Understand that with these policies also come some basic expectations. I do ask questions if you do not provide enough information about your issue. Don't be offended. I only ask more questions when I feel that you have not provided enough specific information about your issue in order to determine the next course of action. Troubleshooting is a necessary part of the process. Your cooperation is required to ensure a speedy resolution. Know this: I do not respond well to threats, feedback extortion, or any other intimidation tactics. I'm firm, but fair. But if you decide to go down that road, I'll immediately cease assistance and begin a dispute process instead. If you can't handle that, please don't bother bidding on any of my auctions.

Please note that regardless of these policies, all shipping expenses for returns/exchanges will be at the buyer's expense. No exceptions. By bidding on this auction, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this policy.

Austex Sales will accept returns based on the warranty or non-DOA policy of the product. Warranty and non-DOA status is determined in the item description. If none is stated, none is given or implied. Returns are not automatic. You will be required to follow certain protocols (troubleshooting, photos, etc.) to determine eligibility for the return/exchange of a product. If a return is granted, Austex Sales will determine the type of return based on the information provided from the buyer. The outcome will only be one of the following:

• DOA Return - The item received is defective or DOA and can be returned for an exchange.
• Warranty Return - The item is covered by a warranty period for defects and can be returned for an exchange.
• No Return - the item does not qualify for a return, and none will be accepted.
• Non-DOA* Return - the item does not qualify under a DOA or Warranty Return, but based on the information provided it will be accepted for return with a 20% re-stocking fee.

In the event of a return/exchange:

• All items must be returned within 15 days of receipt of auction item or within the warranty period, whichever is greater.
• You must contact the seller with your eBay id, auction number, and auction title before shipping the item back.
• You will receive a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) and instructions to return your item.
• All returns must include all original items undamaged, in re-saleable condition, and all original packaging including manuals, warranty forms, etc. and an assigned RMA# on the label.
• I will refuse any package without an RMA# on the box or label.
• Barcodes and serial numbers are recorded and verified on purchases and returns.
• All of our products are discreetly marked with identification, so exchanges are only given upon id verification.
• Original auction shipping/handling fees are not refundable.
• Buyers are responsible for shipping costs incurred when returning products to me. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Buyer is REQUIRED to provide tracking/delivery confirmation information to seller on return shipments.
• DOA returns will be given an exchange only. Refunds are not given unless an item is out of stock.
• Warranty returns will be given an exchange only. Store credit is only available if an item is out of stock. No refunds.
• I do not accept returns for non-compatibility.
• I do not accept returns because a buyer changed his/her mind about the purchase.
• Software sales are not refundable.
• I charge a 20% re-stocking fee for all non-DOA returns.

Feedback Policy

Feedback is an important tool for all eBay users. But too many buyers forget or simply don't bother returning feedback once I've left it for them, so I no longer automatically leave positive feedback upon payment.

Feedback is given only when it is received.

The fact is making a payment does not automatically guarantee feedback. And it shouldn't. It's not about a fast payment or shipment. Feedback is about the overall auction/customer service experience.

If you're happy with your item and customer service, then I'm happy that I've provided a good experience for you. If you're not happy, then I need to know about it. It is your responsibility as a buyer to give me a chance to make it right BEFORE you leave your feedback. Contact me for auction assistance and I'll work with you to resolve any issues.
