Hinges fully attached. Some general rubbing, signs of usage. An overextended page gathering. Light foxing. Early inscription, dated 1881. Good condition.

Includes a detailed contents and preface. Numerous illustrations. Jaeger was a professor of Zoology and Botany in the College of New Jersey.
