Theay are popular on the west coast and a specialty item of Black Door.  They are pleasing to the eye with dimensions that are a bit longer and more narrow than Eastern (standard) Kings.  Cal King beds are generally preferred by taller individuals.  Most of our King Beds are available in "California" size. Eastern king mattresses are 76"W x 80"L and the California king is 72"W x 84"L.

The 'Queen Anne' is our finest collection of antique reproduction home furnishings. The detail work in this collection is hand carved in plantation-grown solid mahogany and then sanded and finished by hand for a smooth finish. Then a multi-step finish process is applied for a rich, elegant look and feel.  Don't be fooled by other furniture that appears hand carved, but instead has had intricate detail work carved by a machine.  Look closely and the quality of the piece will be apparent.  Solid mahogany construction.  The Bed headboard, footboard, posts & canopy are solid mahogany. Slats are mixed hardwood.  Matching furniture has solid mahogany tops, side panels & drawer face on a mixed hardwood frame.  Drawer box is albasia (an Asian hardwood).  The drawers glide smoothly on ball bearing guides. Drawer boxes are English dovetail construction with dust proofing. All furniture comes pre-assembled with the exception of beds. Some pieces may require minor assembly such as attaching feet or legs.

Insured curbside shipping via a national freight company. All freight deliveries are by appointment. In most cases the shipment can be placed inside a garage at no additional charge if requested, provided there is access for a pallet jack. Inside delivery is available for an additional fee. Time in transit is generally about a week to most locations. Local customer pick-up is welcomed.

You can request a custom curbside delivery quote by contacting the seller.  List the items you wish to purchase and your zip code.  We combine shipping to give you the lowest rate.  Please provide a daytime phone number so that you can be notified prior to delivery.  Contact the seller if you need inside delivery or have other delivery requirements. Additional charges apply.  Canadian customers please consult a customs broker prior to shipment for information on customs, taxes, duty and a brokerage fees. Black Door does not collect nor is not responsible for these fees.

Sales Tax: We are not required to charge sales tax to out of state residents, nor do we collect it.  Only sales to Washington residents are subject to tax at 8.2%.

Return Policy: We offer a 30-day guarantee on all purchases. Take up to thirty days to decide if the furniture is right for you. If you do not, for any reason, want to keep your purchase contact us so that we can authorize the return.  Once the merchandise is returned in original, undamaged, unassembled condition we will provide a full refund minus the original shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee.  If you request return shipping be provided by Black Door that amount will be deducted from refund. Any damages that may occur to your items during return shipping will be deducted from your refund, so please be sure to repackage your items safely and securely (consider keeping the original shipping containers on hand for 30 days).
