Title: ANIMAL STORIES WE CAN READ ADAPTED BY: FLORA L CARPENTER Illustrated by: DOROTHY GRIDER Copyright Date: 1947 Publisher: Rand McNally & Company Format: Hardback This book is in fair used condition. It does have writing on one page where the child wrote his name, and on another which is just a little tiny scribble. This page is also torn about 2 inches. The price of the book is also written on the inside front page. There is the normal wear noted on the edges and corners of the book cover as well. The staples have pulled loose from the "lining" page on the front cover, leaving holes in the spine edge of this facing paper. There are some FANTASTIC little colored pictures in this book which would be great if framed and hung in a child's room. I think they would also be neat in a scrapbook...if you could bear to take the book apart, that is. Great vintage book for a collector! ***Sorry about the sideways photo...I am on a computer other than my own, and can't fix the problem! Come back often...estate sales are picking up and we hope to find lots more unique items to list for our customers.
