Terms and Conditions

Bidding:

You must contact me prior to bidding if you have feedback less than 10.  If you do not contact me, I reserve the right to cancel your bid(s).

Items:

All items sold are from my personal collection or purchased from estate sales.  Items are in pre-owned condition and sold as-is unless otherwise noted as new.

Payment:

ONLY form of payment accepted is Paypal .  DO NOT bid if you cannot bid via an existing Paypal account.  No personal checks or MO.  Paypal payment MUST be made within 3 days of the listing closing date.  Please plan ahead accordingly.  If payment is not made within this time frame, your item may be relisted and you will be reported to Ebay.  Feedback will be left once feedback is received.

Combined Shipping:

Multiple items won may be combined for shipping as long as items being shipped will not damage one another if in same box (i.e. a collectible figurine and an oversized electronic cannot be combined).  Qualifying items can be combined if won within three days of the first item won.  Shipping discounts are calculated depending on the size and weight of the total items won and the location to which they are being shipped.  Handling charges are not combined.  Please wait for a revised combined invoice before making payment, as this is the only means to combine shipping.  Individual invoices paid before being combined cannot be reversed for combined shipping.

Insurance:

Due to items being lost/stolen in transit via USPS and buyers demanding refunds from GoldandGemsLLC due to USPS error, insurance is required for all items with an estimated replacement value that exceeds $20.  Seller is not responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit and no refunds will be given for loss/damage by seller regardless of sale price.  

Shipping and handling:

All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.  We cannot ship internationally or to APO/FPO's.  Please do not bid if you do not have a Continental U.S. address.  Moat items areshipped for FREE.  Any shipping charges shown are to cover insurance.   In some cases a small handling fee is included in all item shipping charges to cover packaging and materials depending on size and necessary protection.  All items ship within 5 business days of receiving CLEARED payment.  Please allow up to 10 business days before status inquiries. 

Returns and Refunds:

Returns are accepted ONLY if item is grossly misrepresented.  Items lost or damaged en route MUST have insurance.  Items without insurance purchased are not my responsibility and cannot be refunded.  Claims will be initiated by the seller upon email notice by the buyer.  Any claim amount will be refunded no sooner than when the USPS insurance department issues a claim check (up to 60 days) and once the damaged item is shipped/received back to the seller by the buyer/recipient (return shipping will be refunded in cases of insurance claims only).  *Please note that initial shipping, insurance and handling charges are NON-REFUNDABLE in any case, no exceptions.
