Item was acquired at an estate sale and box is sealed in plastic, never opened.  This is a Lee Wards crewel embroidery kit titled "Quilting Bee Crewel Sampler".  Features the words "Hours spent quilting bind close friendships".  The Warmth and charm of an old-fashioned Quilting Bee makes this a perfect addition to your home.  Complete kit has everything you'll need to complete this sampler:  stamped design on fabric, 100% wool crewel yarn, embroidery floss, instructions, and wood frame.  Finished size:  8" x 10".  Recommended: 6" or 8" embroidery hoop.
