(new) We are proud to offer a vast collection of collectibles, antiques and estate items from the collection of Jody & Bill Black, also called "The Heirloom Hunter", thousands of items beginning this December 2009. Treasure trove left untouched for half a century

This is the final Brass Bugle Antiques event everyone is talking about, containing the best of Louise’s collection in storage for over 40 years, including her famous chairs and furniture. Connecticut antiques dealer Louise Mondani Graham, who died in August 2008, operated her old-school American antiques business, Brass Bugle Antiques, from a well-patronized barn in Cornwall Bridge, Litchfield County, Connecticut. The building gained acclaim after it was chosen to be the subject of an artwork by Graham's close friend, the noted New England painter Eric Sloane (1905-1985). This event contains personalized and original sketches and art from Eric who frequently visited the barn from the 1950’s to 1985.

Shipping / Handling: We combine lots to save you money based on weight. Just request a manual invoice from us after the auction instead of using the eBay calculated rate if you win more than one item. We will work with you to save you money whether you are from the US or worldwide. We use USPS and FedX Ground.

REGARDING FURNITURE: Most freight pallets can be created for multiple items like Chairs up to 150lb for around $140-$180.00 most places in the US. Extra charges for residential or lift gates. You can pick up for free in SC.

Item Description

Exceptional Heintz lamp , sterling on bronze, applied lily design, cut-out shade with a linear design and backed with fabric, beautiful original patina, original Heintz Art Metal Shop label (HAMS in a diamond). The Art Crafts Shop formed around 1902 in Buffalo NY by Bernard Carpenter & Otto Heintz, this company only produced enameled items for a few years before moving on to Silver overlay & changing the name to the Heintz Art Metal Shop. Obviously influenced by the European design journals of the time showcasing the marvels of Art Nouveau or Jugendstil, their work is one of the few true American Art Metal examples from the period (with a hint of gothic), alongside Tiffany. Fabric needs to be replaced, original wiring needs to be redone, this lamp is absolutely one of the best examples of Arts & Craft perfection in its original form, with the original Heintz Label still intact on bottom!
