TAKE TWO APPLES AND CALL ME IN THE MORNING is the new, ground-breaking nutrition and diet book that shows readers how they can use the power of food to achieve optimum health. Written by Judy Stone, a psychotherapist and nutrition expert, TAKE TWO APPLES… offers startling insights not only into the chemistry created within our bodies by our food choices, but also the role our emotions play in making those choices. Through the holistic approach she presents in her book, Stone has helped thousands of clients not just lose weight, but lower blood pressure and cholesterol counts, regulate blood sugar, reduce reliance on prescription drugs, and much more. Stone coaches readers on making small but long-lasting changes they can live with as they build a more healthful and satisfying lifestyle. Best of all, she includes over 100 of her time-tested and easy-to-follow recipes for all kinds of good food. Comprehensive in content, graphically appealing, seasoned well by the author’s sense of humor, TAKE TWO APPLES… offers the kind of direction and support readers can rely on to show them how to eat well for a lifetime.
Since 1980, Judy Stone has been teaching and working holistically with people on issues of health, diet, and physical awareness.
In her private practice as a psychotherapist and nutritionist, Judy helps clients address both the physical and emotional obstacles to overcoming debilitating health problems such as obesity, alcoholism, depression, overeating, chronic pain, high levels of blood sugar and cholesterol, and drug dependency.
Certified in Bioenergetic Analysis, a cutting-edge discipline within the field of psychotherapy, Judy developed and operated "Feeding Your Whole Self," a program for women using Bioenergetics, group therapy, and cooking classes to explore and change their relationship with food, body, and self. She also has certification in Comprehensive Nutrition from The American Academy of Nutrition.
Following her passion for combining good food with good health, Judy started a personal chef service, Popover Cooking Service, through which she cooked healthy meals for people in their own kitchens. She has developed dozens of recipes to support healthy eating and has taught cooking classes emphasizing the use of whole foods for ten years.
Although Judy wrote and edited a print and online newsletter, Eater's Digest, TAKE TWO APPLES AND CALL ME IN THE MORNING is her first full-length book.
