Welcome to my listing for
"THE STOCKINGS WERE HUNG",
a wonderful country style Christmas / Winter wreath.
 
You're gonna love this one.  Measuring 36" long, by 31" wide, by 7" deep, it is going to make your front door or favorite wall look fabulous.  I used these adorable gingerbread men that are sticking out of the neatest stockings.  Each of these measure 10" high by 5" wide at the toes of the stockings.  The gingerbread men are hand painted and there are little rustic bells on each of the stocking's toes.  One of the stockings has a note pinned to it saying "filled stockings".  These little guys are so cute.
 
Different sizes of barn stars in a rustic brown are strewn throughout this wreath.  Did you see the apples?  There are seven of them.  I also used deep crimson hydrangeas with gold edges in this piece.  They help to bring out the red in the stockings.  Do you like berries?  Little red berries on tiny sticks are everywhere.  I also used larger red berries and lots of holly leaves to celebrate the season.  There are also evergreen branches in this wreath.  The bow is made of a sheer red ribbon with gold stars and swirls on it.  The streamers run through the wreath and blend everything together so nicely.
