Rectangular 43mm lens hood for Digital Video Camcorder. The hood can be directly attached to UV filter with 43mm thread (UV filter not included) or to step-up ring. The thumb screw is used to tighten the hood on to the filter. It is the same design that used in most of the professional video camcorder. Allow you to have same professional look without spending big money.

Hood not only gives you a great professional look, it also provides multiple functions: it shades the lens from stray light, improving your contrast and image quality; in inclement weather, it can assist in keeping moisture or wind-blown debris off the lens; and it protects the front barrel from the inevitable impacts against walls, door frames, and other real-life obstacles.

This hood can be used on any camcorder with the 43mm filter thread, like most of the Panasonic models, like AG-DVC7, AG-DVC10, AG-DVC15, PV-DV53, PV-DV73 and PV-DV953. It also can be used on other camcorder models with by utilizing step-up adapter ring. Please check our other auctions for this adapter ring.

Please note, that you will need a step-up ring or UV filter to mount this hood on your camcorder.
