What is Home HeartBeat?
The Home Heartbeat System is a new and innovative way to increase your home awareness by giving you vital information about the essential systems in your home. No matter where you are the system delivers the information you want about your home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Every Home Heartbeat system starts with three basic components:
Base Station
Home Key™ device
Sensors
The Base Station acts as a wireless relay. It takes in information from the sensors and reports that information back out, to your Home key device when within range of the home, and to your cell phone via text messaging when you are outside of the home. Coming soon will also be a broadband gateway option - allowing you to log in to an internet page and view the status of all your sensors in real time. Whenever and however you need to be notified, Home Heartbeat will contact you.
The Home Key™ is a control panel for the sensors and a display device for the base station – all in one. The Home Key™ device is the only interface you need to activate your sensors. Simple pre-programmed commands on the Home Key will walk you through the entire set up process. It’s that easy.
Sensors keep the pulse of your home in check. They monitor the status of things and alert you as soon as a change occurs. Is the window open or closed? Is the basement floor wet or dry? Is the light on or off? Home Heartbeat sensors will let you know.
HOW HOME HEARTBEAT WORKS
Home Heartbeat is a network of wireless sensors that monitor and report the status of up to 30 sensors in the home. The sensors relay status information to the Home Heartbeat Base Station, which then relays the information to you. You can choose how you want to receive information from the Base Station, either as Alerts on a cell phone or as Real-time Status, via a broadband connection.
It’s easy to get started:
Home Heartbeat’s wireless sensors monitor critical areas in your home
and alert you, before a minor malfunction becomes a major problem.
