This auction is for an 8 x 10 color photograph of famed artist, Andrew Wyeth, pretending to duel with famed actor, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. in front of a vintage carriage. The two were good friends, each with a healthy sense of humor. This picture was taken by my father in the early 1980’s as they all prepared to take a carriage ride to the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford, PA. Doug signed it with a short note to my parents. There is some spotting, but it is otherwise in very good condition.
