A Unique thrown porcelain vessel with carved abstract leaves finished in shades of earthy green. We think this finish is called a cone 6 oxidation. This treasure is signed by Pamela Kirk, a New Mexico artist. After extensive searching online, we could find only one mention of her work; a silent auction of a thrown porcelain bowl which was a 1980 collaboration with Richard Lafean, a master potter from South Carolina. The joy of pottery is that each piece is unique,unusual and most often a mystery. If you have any info on this artist, please let us know.
