Each
bowl is 5" diameter and 2" high. ~ Very Fine/EXCELLENT Condition! No damage found on
the bowl with the pink center flower; other bowl has an edge missing of one petal of 1 flower (see

yet I see my DSR ratings drop
at the same time, I have to believe that bidder did not fully understand the DSR
system, SO: I'd like
to make you aware of some misleading aspects of that system as eBay set
it up... Usually, on a scale of
1-to-5, you'd expect "3" to be "average", therefore "acceptable."
Furthermore, it would seem like "4" would be "better than
average" - a "GOOD" score... BUT, the way eBay rates
things, sellers are penalized for any rating below 4.6,
and an average of anything below 4.3 is considered FAILING!
I
realize that this is
counter-intuitive to users, compared to the way such rating scales
usually work,
so I would like to caution you
that if you are considering a rating below 5 Stars for my service
- if you THINK you're saying "WELL DONE" with 4 Stars -
in reality such ratings can HURT me, leading to higher fees, lower
search standings, even suspension of my selling! Believe me, this business is NOT making me rich - in
fact, as it has gotten much harder & time-consuming over the years.
I am now working this business almost constantly, yet still struggling
day-to-day just to make ends meet!
But this is my profession, and right now I have nothing better that I

I DO NOT GOUGE ON SHIPPING! I do
charge you the actual wholesale cost (CHEAP!)
that I pay for safe packaging materials,
based on what I use for YOUR item (to keep it fair for all), along
with the carrier's postage/freight charge. CHECK MY FEEDBACK; you'll find
NO complaints about shipping charges! I
formerly did not usually list shipping charge in auctions, because I
could figure the correct charges more accurately - and often more
inexpensively - than eBay's Shipping Calculator. For instance, if an item sold for $100.01, I would
insure the item for $100.00; however, eBay's calculator
automatically insures for the full amount, which can cost you about a
dollar or 2 more, just for 1¢ of additional coverage!
Well, for your "protection", eBay now requires me to list
shipping charges up front,
and so they are in the hands of the calculator...

ANY CASE, SELLER RECOMMENDS INSURANCE, since
this covers you not only for

event of a lost or damaged package, Seller will
assist Buyer with insurance claim and support documentation, but MAY NOT
BE HELD LIABLE for any package, once shipped. ~ SPECIAL
NOTICE regarding VERY VALUABLE DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS:
Most Rare Collectibles and Original Artwork
valued over $500
will be shipped via USPS, if possible,
because all the other carriers limit insurance on irreplaceable items. Items valued over
$5,000 will be sent via
REGISTERED mail,
as only that way can they be insured to full value. ~ INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Either
way, I cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to items shipped

a non-US address. (Not
that I have ever had a problem with an international shipment, and
I have shipped to many countries, worldwide!)

may not REQUIRE an item to be insured.
3) Please be aware that IF insurance IS required, then we will NOT be
able to use USPS First Class Mail, because that service is NOT
INSURABLE for foreign shipments. USPS
discontinued all "surface" foreign mail services years ago, so that
means that the cheapest way I can
ship an insured package internationally is via USPS
PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL.
If I have determined that
I want an item insured, then don't ask me to send via 1st Class! NOTE: I MAY occasionally , at MY
discretion, relax some shipping requirement(s) at the END of an auction
IF the final bid is LOW. However, I usually have no way of
knowing what an item's value will be
at the time I am listing it; I can only make that determination AFTER
the auction has ended,
so during the bidding process, you must agree to whatever shipping
options are offered and required.
Unless expressly
stated within the text of my
description of the item above,
there are NO RETURNS or REFUNDS for any items shipped out of the U.S.A. PACKAGING: I
charge NO "handling" fees, but I usually use NEW packing materials(including
boxes, bubble wrap,
and/or styrofoam peanuts), WHICH I BUY WHOLESALE,
in BULK quantities. I
will likely include that into the shipping cost, but it will still
be very inexpensive - just
what it costs me - I am not in the business of selling
packaging!
Unusually bulky,
heavy, or fragile items - like large, framed pictures, and heavy
stereo
components,
usually WILL
require special boxes (generally $2.00 to $5.00) plus extra packing
materials. PLEASE NOTE:
Every week, I get eMails after auctions end, from buyers who are
kicking themselves
for waiting to the last second to bid, who then, for one reason or
another, "didn't get a chance" to bid. The fact is, waiting to the end
for the best deal is a
MYTH -
the MAJORITY of "WATCHERS" end up not bidding at all - and you can't
win that way! It is NAIVE to believe you will be that ONE person who
REMEMBERS TO, and CAN bid at the end;
it is much more likely you will be one of those mentioned in the first
line above... If you WANT
this item, the smartest course is to GET A BID IN EARLY! ~ ALSO:
Some people seem to have the idea that it's
OK to bid on an auction,
then later (sometimes days
later,
even when the
auction is about to end) change their mind, and retract their bid. This is AGAINST eBay rules,

my policy is to BLOCK anyone who does this from all future bidding on
any of my auctions. Please, DO NOT BID unless you
