This piece was made from rare, old, vintage dies, though it is a genuine old design (turn of the century), it is newly made.

  The unique filigree and skull brooch pin is very sturdy.  It is made with a sturdy brass base and then sterling silver plated.  It is then oxidized (antiqued) to show the intricate detailing.

If you want this pin to be made into a pendant so you can wear it as a necklace ... I can add a bail pin back for an extra 2.50.   This will allow you to wear it as a necklace or as a brooch/pin.   I also have sturdy silver rhodium rope chains available which match it perfectly.   I have 18 or 24 inch lengths at 2.50 each.  Just indicate your needs via email after you win the auction and I will send you a revised invoice.
