You are bidding on a beautiful circa 1890's OWL & PINE CONE ART NOUVEAU  EXPANDING BOOK ENDS. This beautifully detailed book end is made of a bronze patina-ted metal with brass tubes that attach the ends. It is marked 9776 on the inside of one of the ends, being possibly a BRADLEE & HUBBARD piece. It is in EXCELLENT condition and expands without difficulty. It measures 6-1/2 inches wide and measures 8-1/2 inches when closed and 14-3/4 inches when expanded. It is sturdy weighing just over 1-1/4 lbs.

A great item for the bird or owl collector or to use in any room in your home. I am listing this beautiful Owl & Pine Cone book end at a low starting price with NO RESERVE!!
