Pub Crawl by California native and international superstar James Franco is a distinctive and striking piece purchased by the owner in 2003, from a prominent art gallery in Los Angeles.

Award winning actor James Franco is perhaps best known for his role in the Spider-Man Trilogy, playing opposite Tobey Maguire, and for his role opposite Sean Penn in Milk. Mr. Franco is a prolific actor, director, screenwriter and producer, having earned two Golden Globe Awards (for James Dean and Pineapple Express), two MTV Movie Awards (Pineapple Express), an Independent Spirit Award (Milk), and a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award (Milk). He has won nine major awards nominations. His upcoming movie’s include General Hospital, Eat Pray Love (with Julia Roberts), Howl (portraying Allen Ginsburg), Date Night, and Your Highness.

Mr. Franco is the new face of Gucci Fragrance for Men, he has graced the covers of numerous magazines, and he was featured as one of People Magazine’s “Sexiest Men Alive.” He co-starred with Robert DeNiro in City By The Sea, and he starred in Tristan & Isolde, Annapolis, Flyboys, Knocked Up, among many others.

An artist before he was an actor, Mr. Franco is the grandson of highly regarded art dealer Mitzi Levine Verne, and the son of poet, author, and editor Betsy Franco, and Doug. He studied at California State Summer School for the Arts, and is currently enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts.
