DESCRIPTION.  Rare interior scene of 3 young men pouring drinks out of fancy goblets. The young man at center grasps the decanter firmly so that we can see his four long fingers at the center of the daguerreotype. He wears a top hat and his eyes are averted down. The receiving lad also has his eyes cast downward, and he too, shows us four fingers, albeit sporting a ring on his pinky. The young man at the right patiently awaits his turn. Look at the spectacular statuette on the table.

SIZE. Sixth plate.

HOUSING. Half case.

CONDITION. Slight haze, especially lower portion. Lower right corner has tarnish.

APPEARANCE. Slight haze is apparent. Fantastic composition. Whether allegorical or actual, great content. Wonderful lighting.
