Antique Wind Up Pressed Tin Dog w/Moving Tail and Ball

One antique wind up, pressed tin childs toy.

Toy is a dog with a beach ball. Wind it up and the tail flaps, the dog rolls across the floor rollong the ball. Toy measures about 4-1/4" long and approx. 2-1/4" high. This toy has almost no paint loss and is in excellent condition. Says on bottom "Made in U.S. Zone-Germany". Dog even has a red collar.

Toy has one very small spot of corrosion at bottom of dogs rear end, you cannot see this unless you turn toy upside down. Does not detract. Other thing is this one has no key. I would assume it had a key at one time because the spring action is too tight to wind with your fingers. I wound it w/a small crescent wrench and it works.

A nice old toy in very fine condition.
