BEST ART NOUVEAU GOLDSMITHS & SILVERSMITHS ENTREE DISH
MADE BY VICTORIAN ENGLAND'S FINEST SILVER PLATE COMPANY
This is the best Victorian Art Nouveau entree / lidded serving bowl, I have sold in a very long time, and best of all it still retains it's original reticulated divided liner. The Art Nouveau form is much better than shown in the photos, I forgot to get a straight down shot, so I am certain the new owner will be even more impressed when they see it in real life, and it is made by England best Victorian period maker Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co., marked Regency Plate, 112 Regent Street, W. Regent Plate, Rd. 451002. This beauty is in very good condition with very minor surface age use, except for inner base which shows some wear through to base metal. The serving dish measures approx. 10" in dia. (excluding side handles) x 5-1/2" high including lid handle, a nice practical size for use serving a multitude of dishes.
