This is a spectacular English ART NOUVEAU Sideboard/Buffet. It was made in England circa 1890. We purchased it in London, England.
The Sideboard/Buffet is made of Oak. It has a rich, Deep Oak Patina.
It has a spectacular, deeply carved Cornice over a Gallery Center. It is supported upon intricately turned, Columns.
The Gallery has long, turned Spindles flowing vertically across the top of the Mirror and above the Display Cabinets at each Side.
At the center is a large Rectangular Beveled Mirror.
Flanking the Mirror are gorgeous Display Cabinets. The Top of the Display Cabinets create a lovely Raised Display Shelves.
The Cabinets have beautifully moulded, Glazed Doors with Vertical Glass Panels.
The Doors open to reveal interiors with Shelves running across them. These are perfect for displaying your fine china or collectibles.
The Top of the Sideboard is made in a Deep U-Shaped Center which follows the pattern created by the Gallery above.
The Top Edge the Sideboard is richly carved.
The center of the Sideboard has Two Short Drawers with a Long Drawer below. These are flanked by Wide Drawers.
Beneath are richly carved, Paneled Doors. They are carved in deep relief.
The Drawers open to reveal roomy interiors for storing your fine Silver Settings and Serving Utensils.

The Sideboard is raised upon unique, richly carved, Bracket Feet with a Scalloping Apron running between.
The Hardware is all original. This includes the beautifully formed Pomegranate Design Back Plates, Bale Pulls and Escutcheons.
This is a very fine Art Nouveau Sideboard. The beautifully crafted Drawer with their lovely Dove-tail Joints, reveals the fact that this piece is the work of a fine Cabinet Maker.
