53cm LeMond Zurich Road Bike Reynolds 853 Campagnolo

 For Sale: 53cm 1997 LeMond Zurich Race Bike

I have to part with this fantastic road bike that I completed assembling this spring.  It started as a 53cm LeMond Zurich Frame, which is constructed of high quality Reynolds 853 tubing, and OCLV carbon fork.  I compiled a selection of Campy components with the Pièce de résistance - the Record 10 Brifters (shifter and brake unit). I installed a new headset and new bottom bracket along with some fresh Conti GP4000 tires ($45/tire) so you should have thousands of miles of worry-free riding ahead of you.  I would estimate that it weighs around 18lbs fully loaded. Because of its light weight this bike is perfect to ride, train or race.  I am 5' 10" and would recommend the bike for anyone from 5' 6" to 5' 10". 
The bike is in used condition with small dings on the frame and light wear on some of the components but nothing more than the average bike of its vintage.  The bike has been checked out by a bike mechanic and all damage has been verified as strictly cosmetic.  This isnt quite a show bike but would make for a fantasticly fast bike to throw around training or some tough crits. 
Why spend $1,000 on an entry level road bike when you can have top of the line components for less?  This is a steal for anyone that is looking to get into road biking without spending too much on too little.  The bike did lose a rear brake to another side project and does not come with pedals (i'm keeping those for my next project).  I can throw on a rear shimano brake from my everyday bike for an extra $40.  Also, I still have all of the Campy boxes if you are looking to do something different with the bike/components.
