This auction is for a set of Minolta Standard Binoculars EZ 10x50 in like-new condition. I can see no wear or usage marks on these binoculars. Included is the original box, case, and warranty papers. The lens covers are present but the eye covers are missing.
My General Policies I want both you and I to have a good experience buying and selling on Ebay. Bad auction experiences are no good for anybody. I've found that timely and polite communication are key components in a successful transaction. Please don't assume that I've acted with bad intentions if the product you receive is not as I described it or you've expected it. I get my products from all over and at times I'm not very knowledgable about a particular item. I may unintentionally misdescribe an item but will be happy to work with you to resolve the issue. Resolving issues can be easy and straightforward, especially if you are courteous in your communications with me. Returns & guarantees (US customers): Assuming the item is properly described, than all items are sold as-is, with no guarantees, no satisfaction-guaranteed-or-your-money-back, and no-returns-accepted, except as follows. If the above item description indicates that the item is "new" and/or guaranteed to work, then you will have 14 days after I've mailed the item to evaluate it and contact me if it doesn't work for return authorization. If the description does not specifically say that the item is guaranteed, then it's not. If the item is not properly described, for instance it has a significant undescribed/overlooked flaw, then I would consider that covered by my return/guarantee policy. If the item is authorized for return you'll have a week, unless otherwise arranged, to get it back into the mail to return to me if you want a refund. Returns & guarantees (outside the US): In general, I can offer no guarantees for items shipped outside the US. The cost of shipping and return-shipping are too great. Feedback: I provide feedback for buyers AFTER I've received feedback from the buyer. I used to provide immediate feedback to 100% of my buyers immediately upon receipt of payment. In return, I was receiving feedback in only about 1 out of 3 transactions. I'll no longer reward the inconsiderate Ebayers. If you're a good Ebayer you'll get good feedback. Payment: I expect prompt payment. In general, you know what you've bought and what the shipping is before the auction is over. In these cases, there's no need for you to wait for an invoice from Ebay or me. If you're going out of town for 2 weeks and won't be able to pay, that's fine as long as you've let me know about it ahead of time. Prompt payment gets prompt shipping. I will send an invoice. If I don't receive payment or communication from you I'll send you a reminder. If I still don't hear anything from you I have to assume you're a deadbeat and will immediately turn the transaction over to the Ebay problem resolution system, this isn't fair to me or the other Ebayers who were bidding on the item. Don't waste your email trying to explain to me or Ebay why it's my fault you couldn't pay me within a week and couldn't bother communicating with me. If you've had an unexpected crisis I will work with you as best I can, just let me know ASAP. Shipping (US Customers): Unless otherwise stated in the auction, I generally ship as cheaply as possible via USPS. If you need or expect something specific you'll need to let me know before the auction ends. Criticizing my choice of budget shipping after an item has been mailed is hardly fair. Local pickup is encouraged. Ceramics, glass, and other breakables, as well as large or odd-shaped items might have a handling charge assessed due to the extra time and materials that might be involved in packaging. Shipping (outside the US): Request a shipping quote before you bid. Most items are surprisingly expensive to ship outside the US via USPS. I don't set the rates. I don't determine how long it takes for an item to move through US Customs, your country's Customs, and finally to your door. All I can do is drop the item off for shipping as quickly as possible after I've received your payment. Do not ask me to falsify the Customs Documents by falsely stating that the item is a gift or is less expensive than it actually is. There is a handling charge for these items due to the extra time and costs involved with Customs documents. Combined shipping discounts: I'm happy to offer combined shipping discounts when I can. If one or more item is heavy and the quoted rate is for a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box, I can't guarantee that there will be a savings by combining shipping. If this might be an issue, inquire before bidding. Shipping Damage: Sometimes the item is damaged in shipping. Beginning your email with the accusation that I purposely did this, I'm an idiot, etc, is hardly the way to initiate this type of communication and come to a happy resolution. If your entire life's course is revolving around receiving your eBay item without shipping damage, and receiving it damaged is going to make you feel you'll need to threaten me, please don't bother bidding. I don't need your money that bad. Lastly: Thanks for reading this. If you've taken the time to read this you're probably one of the many eBayers who is pleasant to deal with and I look forward to working with you.
