 These old American Collector magazines are from May, July and November of 1938 and April of 1939.  They are in good shpae, soiled and with a water stain on the cover of May 1938.  Inked notes on the top of three covers.  But what nice articles they contain!  Hester Bateman, Eastlake period, Lacy Sandwich goblets, Connecticut clock-making in Central New York, Rare books, Hackensack Valley cupboard, Whately Mass potters, French domestic silver, advertising prints and lithography, English silver, New York street trades of 1840, Gaines of Portsmouth furniture, paperweight making, pewter, America's first world's fair, Long Island's Horton house, Chester County cabinetmakers, Early Thumbprint glass, and a regular column by Ruth Webb Lee on reproductions of the 1930s.
