Antique Pine Country Store Counter / Kitchen Island 10'

Up for your consideration: This awesome early heavy construction pine counter I found at a farm auction. Was probably a work counter on an old farm or hardware store.  Measures 10 feet in length and is just over 2 ft wide (26 inches). Nice turned legs. Primitive look but very sturdy.

To refurbish it to bring into our home, we power washed it, sealed bottom apron and legs to retain the original paint and patina. Top was grimey, dirty rough pine. We spent hours sanding to smooth out the rough edges. Rough areas still there, but not splintery anymore. Then applied several applications of hardeners and shellac.

Great for country store, antique shop, kitchen island, greenhouse, mudroom, etc.

GUARANTEE: For the most part, I deal with primitives and antiques with lots of charm. That means they are not always in perfect shape and I consider them sold as-is. I usually offer a bunch of pictures to enable you to see exactly what you’re getting. If there are obvious flaws I do my best to point them out. If you receive something in the mail and it’s obvious to anyone that I haven’t described it or the pictures don’t capture the item properly, I will gladly refund your money (less return postage) if you email within 24 hours of receipt of item and let me know.
