VINTAGE 1950s BIKER HORSEHIDE LEATHER JACKET sz 42?

Another vintage beauty, epitome of cool vintage clothing, this time from New York.   New York Patrolman  leather jacket, heavy, black color horsehide,   made at end of 1950’s by BEST UNIFORM New York, New York.
      Beautiful jacket, ABSOLUTELY EXCELENTE VINTAGE CONDITION, just slightly aged, with beautiful vintage fleur, LA’s Melrose Avenue favored.
        Satin nylon lining immaculate.  See pictures please.
       Two inside leather trimmed (order) pockets, leather pen pocket, stitched flaps on the chest ( no real pocket) Very heavy ( double pull) 22 inches long,  TALON zipper  in perfect  working order.   See pictures please.
      The double thick leather tab under the zipper. Two 5 inches side slits for better movement, adjustable with small belt and snap buttons.   Reinforced hem at the front. Buttoned down epaulettes, adorned end of sleeves.
        Very collectible and wearable jacket in excellent  vintage condition.
          MUST HAVE JACKET FOR BIKE RIDING.
NOTE:  very rare for those jackets, labels still attached,  jacket is made by BEST UNIFORM New York, New York, one of prominent leather garments designer at the time. See pictures please.
NOTE: Jacket just need some cleaning with soapy water and any better leather conditioner and will serve you for another forty years.
       No size label and my guess is size 42.  Please read measurements and compare with the measurements of your favorite jacket to insure a proper fit.
       Measurements are:   22 1/2"   armpit to the armpit,   19 1/2"   shoulder seam to the shoulder seam ( measured strait at the back)       24"   shoulder seam (top of shoulder) to the end of cuff  outside,   17”   pit to cuff  and    26"   from nap of neck (bottom of collar) to the hem.
