Collectors aware, very rare find, rarest of them all, original WW2  A-2  flight jacket in very desirable size  46.    Beautiful  AERO LEATHER CLO. CO.   US AAF  A-2  heavy, heavy horsehide leather flight jacket in very good  vintage condition aged to perfection.  Leather on this jacket is excellent quality and condition with beautiful vintage fleur. 
NOTE:  All though jacket went true extensive restoration, it is beautiful and desirable  collectors piece, especially in size 46.
   Outer shell excellent vintage condition, yes with  signs of wear, but just beautiful vintage fleur. Significant signs of wear at cuffs (leather part) left shoulder. See pictures please.
NOTE: Jacket is fully restored by EASTMAN England, today’s best  maker of  WW2 replicas bomber jackets.
    Yes, knitted parts, lining, zipper are replacement, but if you know that Eastman LEATHER did replacement it is clear jacket is wart any penny paid.  Had have jacket for some years, invested good money because kept jacket for my private collection (very hard to find that big size) 
   As is stated all new parts on jacket are precise replicas of original period piece, knitted parts, zipper lining.  Zipper beautiful replica nickel TALON  war contract, found on  all types of Army jackets from ww2.     Lining exact copy tobacco cotton drill and 100% wool knitted parts. We know all about legendary A-2 jacket, so full description is not even necessary, just please have a look pictures.  Here we have another  beautiful example, made by legendary US AAF supplier at the time and one of few original contracts.  AERO LEATHER CLO. CO.   BEACON NY which  is known as one of first companies to have original contract with U.S. Army in beginning of 1930’.

 No size tag, but according measurements size is real 46 true military snug fit (have exact same jacket with size label attached)     Measurements are:   24”   armpit to the armpit,     19"  shoulder seam to the shoulder seam (strait at the back)      25 1/2"   shoulder seam (top of shoulder) to the end of cuff outside,  18 1/2”  pit to cuffs and    26"   from nap of neck (bottom of collar) to the end of waist band. Please compare with the measurements of your favorite jacket.

I diligently try my best to photograph and describe my items as accurately as possible. Please always ask questions if you have them before bidding. 
All jackets are sold as-is, therefore, I do not accept   returns, unless I have grossly misrepresented the item.   Money will only be refunded if an item is grossly misrepresented in the description, with 10% deducted for Ebay fees. Shipping will not be refunded.

We attempts to give accurate measurements & measurements given in lieu of "sizes"  Vintage sizes are different that current ones, so please take the time to compare above stated measurements to make sure item will fit you.
