VINTAGE 1940’s HORSEHIDE BIKER LEATHER JACKET sz 42

Very rare find,  all American biker jacked, heavy horsehide black color, all time favored design PISTOL POCKET,  D pocket jacket in MINT condition, slightly signs of wear at cuffs, hem.    This jacket is epitome of cool vintage clothing,  unfortunately brand name label is missing but fortunately horsehide label still attached.
     Jacket features two piece recoiling bi swing back, snapped down epaulettes, reinforced kidney panel with six snap buttons, yes one snap button is missing after so many years.  Three outer pockets,  D pocket, one waist chain zippered slit pocket, pocket, one small cigarette pocket buttoned down.
Heavy quilted red color lining, excellent condition, just in need for some cleaning with soapy water.
     Main zipper, original bell shaped TALON from 1940‘s (known from A-2 period jackets) as are cuffs zippers.
Zippers, snap buttons Amazingly good condition for 60 + years old jacket. 
   
      All over beautiful, high quality jacket for collection, or every day outfit.
      No size tag, my guess size state size today’s  42  and measurements are:   23"  armpit to the armpit,   19“  shoulder seam to the shoulder seam (measured strait at the top, back side)    23 1/2"   shoulder seam (top of shoulder) to the end of cuff outside,    16 1/2”  pit to cuffs and   23"   from nap of neck (bottom of collar) to the end of waist band. Please compare with the measurements of your favorite jacket to insure a proper fit.
