A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
June is a Meakin pattern that originated in the 30’s. However it must have been reproduced again in 1951. My reasons for saying this are simple. All bar one of the current pieces I have are stamped with the usual stamp used from 1912 (this is not a 1912 pattern, in spite of other listings saying this!) BUT one piece has the 1951 Meakin Centenary stamp on it. So it may be fair to assume that a small quantity were produced again in this year, maybe for purely the commemorative reason. Which gave people a chance to replace broken items in a discontinued pattern, as well as new services to be bought.
This is the gravy boat and stand. They are in excellent condition, with no chips cracks or crazing and both have the 30s mark. The gravy boat has a couple of tiny dots on the handle, where the glaze is thinner but this is how it has always been. It measures 90mm high, 170mm spout to handle and is approx 75mm wide. The stand is 215mx 120mm. It has a couple of teensy dots of wear to the saxe blue edge but otherwise looks mint.
Direct deposit is my favourite way of payment - all details will be on the invoice. PayPal will only be sent via registered mail within Australia - no exclusions to this as it protects us both. Please wait for invoice, before attempting to pay. Thank you!
I mail Tuesday through to Friday. As far as the new Buyers Protection is concerned, for those in doubt, please do check my feedback. I have yet to find that I cannot “protect” my buyers all on my own! It is that simple. This is my job, I am an honest and reliable seller. If I have stuffed up, then it is up to ME, not eBay or PayPal, to fix it. And I have always done so with a good grace, I hope!
Email me with any questions before bidding, please. Overseas bidders very welcome. Buyer pays Australia Post cost plus basic cost to cover bubblewrap, packaging materials etc. International buyers please use PayPal. Please do not ask me to accept International Money Orders or checks – our banks charge too much and make us all wait too long for the funds!
If I have inadvertently missed a fault on your item, all you have to do is email me. Sometimes human error sneaks in, no matter how careful I try to be!
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
