UNUSUAL VINTAGE RUNNER - CHARMING HAND EMBROIDERY

Size:  34" x 14.5"" (86 x 36 cm)

A beautiful and unusual runner in a very good size, with a lovely  natural, country look.

The fabric is a fairly high count even-weave in a very light cream with a soft sheen.  

The embroidered flowers, in 2 corners only,  are in very soft shades, very low-key and subtle.   Each has a partial drawn thread border.  The flower heads have been pre-made and then sewn on while the leaves and stems are embroidered onto the fabric.  A really unusual cloth, freshly laundered and in good condition.  

 Postal strike

It’s difficult to know what to do for the best with the current postal situation.   As I understand there will be strikes on Friday and Monday this week, I shall plan to post paid-for items on Tuesday.  For payments received later in the week, I will just have to judge what seems best in the light of later developments.  Who knows?  With any luck, they might reach agreement and we will be able to get back to normal.
