Three layers of material make up the design of these dresses to create their dramatic fullness: 

Outer layer is a shiny satin-like shirred and pintucked body trimmed in lace and beautiful ribbon and rosettes and matching collar, the upper body and sleeves are a soft flocked velvet, the middle layer is a lace crinoline trimmed in matching satin and finally the innermost layer is a cotton-like slip.  All dyed to match.

Easy on and off with a zipper back, these are quite a lot of dress for a bargain price. Retail value up to $40.00 in fine department stores and baby boutiques.
