This is the rare autograph of Joe Turnesa, one of the famous Turnesa brothers, who came within a whisker of winning some of golf's major championships. Bobby Jones overtook him on the final nine holes to win the US Open at Scioto in 1926 and he lost in the finals of the PGA to Walter Hagen in 1927. His stature in the game was so strong he was just one of eight players to represent the US on the first two Ryder Cup teams. A seldom seen autograph in any format....this is a clean corner of an album page measuring about 1 1/2 X 3.
