cashmere/merino 5/95 dk weight cone yarn paja

This 5% cashmere / 95% merino yarn was spun especially by a top Spanish mill for Italian knitters producing for Burberry and other top brands... it was branded bulky wool, because it bulks out so well (it is a DK weight though, NOT a bulky weight)

This 150g (5 oz) cone has about 490 yards on it, meaning about 1,500 yards per lb. This yarn bulks up considerably once the garment has its first wash and the knitting oils are removed...

The photo shows a close up of a lightly washed skein of the yarn, to show how it blooms after a first washing, the item being auctioned is cone with 150g nett weight of unwashed yarn.

 We ship worldwide, unless asked otherwise we use Royal Mail first class in UK, Royal Mail Airmail small packet overseas. Usually that takes about 1 week to arrive in US or Asia, but can be a little longer. This costs us a bit over $20/kg, ie about $10/lb, outside Europe, which is why the shipping charge for this item is $4 to the USA..
