American Flyer S Gauge Passenger & Four Freight Cars

Up for auction is this nice grouping of four American Flyer freight cars and one American Flyer Passenger Car. The first car in the grouping is an American Flyer Lines Caboose numbered 806. This car has good trucks and couplers but is burnt on the roof as if it was sitting under a hot wire. The burns are not the type that would indicate that this car was in a fire but they are the type that a hot wire would leave. Don't know how they got there but they are there. The second freight car is a five digit car. It is number 24126 Frisco Gondola. The body is in good shape with no breaks or cracks. Both trucks and/or couplers are broken so both trucks will need to be replaced. A very desirable five digit car. The third freight car is a number 804 Norfolk and Western Black Gondola. The body is sound with no cracks or brakes. There are four small places where it appears that a hot wire touched the top and within the base of the Gondola. The fourth freight car is a number 632 Lehigh New England Grey Hopper. This car has metal trucks with nickle journals and possibly conversion knuckle couplers. This Hopper car is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks or burn marks. The last car is a number 651 New Haven Railway Express Agency in green. It too has metal trucks with nickle journals and what I think is conversion knuckle couplers. No cracks, breaks or burns on this car. I believe that this car will clean up very nicely. In addition to the freight and passenger car, there is a green plastic bumper; an American Flyer Uncoupler Button and Uncoupler Track as well as a manual Uncoupler. A nice grouping at a very reasonable starting price and no reserve. A great opportunity to pick up some nice cars for your layout or collection.
